It is possible to set access permissions for career models defined in SkillNavi.
By granting access permissions, you can define career models that can only be viewed by managers, or career models that can only be viewed by any department or user type.
When a career model is created and enabled, it is not visible to users other than administrators.
To allow users other than administrators to view a career model, access permissions must be explicitly granted.
For each user category, select from the "Viewable/Not viewable" drop-down list on the detail line to set the access permissions.
Even within the same user category, it is possible to assign more detailed restrictions by using the "Management level number".
You can also specify the viewing period by specifying the "Start date" and "End date".
To narrow down the "Department", click the "Select" button to display the department narrowing setting screen and set it.
In "User type", you can make the career model viewable or not viewable for any user type.
Click the "Select" button to display the user type narrowing setting screen and set it.
Toggle the "Can view/Cannot view" select box for each career model/user category.
If you want to limit access to only users with a specific manager level number or above, enter the management level number and click the "Update" button at the bottom of the screen.
If you set "Can view/Cannot view" to "Cannot view," the corresponding career model will not be viewable regardless of the settings for "Management level," "Department," and "User type."
You can specify a "start date" and "end date" for each career model/user category.
If you specify a "start date" and "end date", you will be able to view the corresponding career model by user category only during the specified period. Clicking "now" will select the current date and time.
If you do not specify either a "start date" or "end date", you will be able to view the corresponding career model regardless of the period.
Click the department's "Select" button to select the department you want to make visible.
The selected department will be added to the department field.
If you check "Top departments can also view", higher-level departments of the selected department will also be able to view the career model.
If you check "Subordinate departments can also view", lower-level departments of the selected department will also be able to view the career model.
You can make any user type viewable or inaccessible.
Select the viewing permission for the user type from the drop-down list of "Not use/Viewable/Inaccessible".
Click the "Select" button to select the user type you want to make viewable or inaccessible to.
The selected user type will be added to the User Type field.
